OPEN THREAD: Home Improvement…who would you recommend?

It’s notoriously hard to find good contractors, but I’ve been fairly lucky when it comes to specialists. I had a shower door put in a few days ago by Thrifty Glass Co. in Arcadia, and Bob did a fantastic job. I’d love to hear about anyone you’ve had a good experience with here (or your bad experiences, too!) Oh, and by the way, I’m looking for a good roofer. Anyone know of someone they could recommend?

    For plumpbing I HIGHLY recommend Oscar and the guys at Rudy’s Plumbing here in town.

    The Best guy in town that does it all is Mike Zelenak with House Medic. He does a lot of work for Century 21 Adams and Barnes, and he is very honest.
