Weekend Events
As many of you may know, two fun events will be happening this weekend in Monrovia. The Fire Service Day Pancake Breakfast will be held from 7β11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10th, at Fire Station #1, at 141 E. Lemon Ave.
On Sunday the Monrovia Historic Preservation Group is putting on their annual Mother’s Day Home Tour. This year will be their 26th annual tour, and the homes will range in age from 1887 to 1939.

In other news: more free parking in Old Town Monrovia is now available in the Colorado Commons underground parking area. This should make lots of people happy.

Oooh, there are such lovely homes in Monrovia. I really wanted to live there but I couldn’t find anything in my budget of 2005. I want to go on the home tour. That is my Mother’s Day wish but my son bought me a new toilet (w/installation included). Heh!
The Tour is probably coming to an end…I know they want to hit the 25th year mark, but you wouldn’t want to miss it next year.
