Monrovia Library Dedication

It was quite enjoyable finally being able to walk around inside the new library. It feels wonderfully airy inside with the high ceilings and natural light. Can’t wait to see it filled with books!

Terrific photos! I always love your artist’s
eye for composition and creating visual interest
    par excellence.

Is the new library open? I though the paper said it wasn’t officially open till May?

He he he, totally drove by it just the other day and so didn’t notice. Well, I was tired from work. I am sad the old tree is gone there. But it will be nice to just wander over there on a Saturday and hang out.

It is very beautiful indeed. It’s a work of art, when you consider that all of those workmen and architects and engineers doing their individual jobs, yet working like a team, is art.

I was wondering if anyone had any information about a restaurant that was opened here in Monrovia around the 1960′s. It was called D and G. It was my great grandparent’s restaurant and I was wondering if the building was still standing. If anyone has any information that would be so wonderful!
