I love how this image looks like it was taken in the middle of the desert, but it was right here in Monrovia, near the train tracks. Our clouds made for some great atmosphere.

Yogurt toppings like crazy. Me, I’m an old-fashioned ice cream gal.

I hope everyone had a fun Halloween. I rather liked this creepy art I spotted on a Monrovia beauty salon window.

Walked around Claremont village yesterday and saw the light hitting the letters on the Lanz Building just right. It’s my favorite “out-of-town” spot to visit. Not as crowded as Pasadena, and lots of big trees arching over the streets. I wish Monrovia had more big trees.

Ok…so I’m fantasizing that I’m in turn-of-the-century London…never thought I could get a mysterious night shot with an iPhone…but there you are.

Have to say, chocolate soufflé is my favorite dessert. Wish I had eaten this!

I love eating at La Adelita Mexican Restaurant on Colorado. They have a couple of tables outside (and I can bring my dog!) and the staff is very friendly. I recently fell in love with the spinach enchilada. Great flavor and lots of goodies inside.

Sometimes three planks is all you need! I couldn’t snapping a pic of this funky little back alley gate while walking around town.

I spotted this on a door in Old Town today for the first time. Whew! It reminds me of something you would see in an old European city. So pretty. Ok…so can you guess where it is?

I like that despite this entry is on a scruffy alley, it still has a certain grace to it.
